Celebrate the Centennial (1920-2020) of women winning the right to vote in America— a long-fought struggle. Since the passage of the 19th Amendment of our Constitution, there’s been a hundred years of progress and setbacks. Historian/author Gaye lebaron moderates three speakers— from the diverse realms of education, government and media— who reveal the vital roles of local citizens and events. Panelists are 2020 Women’s Suffrage Project Director leslie Graves, CAP’s Community Engagement Director vinCe harper, and Sonoma County Public Defender Kathleen pozzi, a 4th generation Sonoma County native.
