All Aboard!

Sonoma County Historical Society's Field Trip to
Rio Vista Junction's
Western Railway Museum

Saturday, October 5, 2002
8:30 am to 5 pm

The Western Railway Museum, located between Suisun and Rio Vista, is one of California's finest museums for rail cars, streetcars, and inter-urbans. The museum offers rides in historic streetcars and inter-urban electric cars. It boasts two large car houses where railcars are on display, as well as a visitor center, snack bar, and a picnic area where we will eat our lunch. We will have time to explore the Museum Store, which stocks a wealth of railroad books, videos, and memorabilia.
