Awards
The awards program of the society annually recognizes outstanding accomplishments of individuals and organizations serving the interests of Sonoma County history. The competition is open to both members and non-members of the society.

Nominations may be made by and member of the board of directors at its awards meeting, by any member of the society prior to that meeting, or by any Individual or organization. All nomination must be accompanied by and application from and by two letters of recommendation from a third party not personally related to the nominee. All supporting documents and other submissions become the property of the Society and cannot be returned.
At the discretion of the Society, all award winners will be considered for nomination by the Society for the Conference of California Historical societies annual Award of Merit Competition. The Society may also choose not to make a nomination in any given year.
