Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon

Sunday March 31st, 2019, at the Flamingo Hotel, 4th Street & Farmers Lane in Santa Rosa 11am: No Host Bar, History Day Student Presentations, Raffle Fundraiser, & Great Conversation! 12 Noon: Luncheon, Report to the Members, Annual Awards, & Special Presentation… featuring a talk by Peter Nelson, PhD tHe CoaSt miwok PeoPle
Dr. Nelson is Coast Miwok, and a tribal citizen of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Trained in North American archaeology, he specializes in community-based research that serves Native American communities and enriches academic scholarship. Peter will be speaking about the Tolay Archaeology Project and what we have learned about the history of the Tolay Valley, the people who lived there, and the tribal community that continues to engage with that landscape.

$50 per member or $60 per non-member includes presentation/meeting and 1 of 3 entrees: Roasted Free Range Chicken Breast au jus OR Grilled Pacific Fish in lemon caper sauce OR Grilled Seasonal Vegetables vegan. All meals include Sonoma mixed green salad, seasonal vegetables, wild rice pilaf, rolls, coffee & tea plus dessert of chocolate mousse cake or gluten-free fruit gelato. Also included are all taxes, service and gratuity.
